Now he continues teaching at Kickingbird Tennis Center and Edmond Center Court, still coaching daily.

Steve Henry transitioned into tennis full-time after retiring from General Motors in 2006. He later led expansion at the Oklahoma City Tennis Center, strengthening its role as a leading facility in the USTA Missouri Valley section. He also elevated the OSSAA State Championships by bringing all classifications together at one venue.

Across USTA Oklahoma and USTA Missouri Valley, Henry served in multiple leadership roles and mentored players and coaches for more than three decades.
Steve passed away in 2023 at 62. His impact on Oklahoma tennis continues.

The award recipients and the Hall of Fame Inductees will be recognized on January 31st, 2026 at the Hilton Garden Inn & Conference Center in Edmond, Oklahoma.
